On Yurharovskoe gas-condensate field produced by Open JSC "NOVATEK-JURHAROVNEFTEGAZ" methanol plant with the capacity of 40000 tons designed and constructed by the company Metaprocess has started to operation.
 
Plant is constructed for the purpose of methanol production for deliquating of formation of hydrates at production and distribution of natural gas..
 
The design-build contract of the Methanol plant with the capacity of 40000 tons per year has been concluded between the companies Metaprocess and NOVATEK-Jurharovneftegaz on December, 14th, 2007.
 
At designing and building self-design project of the company Metaprocess was used.
 
At the present time plant works with 70% of the first load and gives the volume of methanol, equivalent to 36 thousand tons of methanol per year. Thus, the peak output of the plant can be achieved in the volume of about 50 thousand tons of methanol per year.
In working on the plant have been involved only in the group of companies Metaprocess over 100 designers and process engineers, 17 equipment engineers, over 250 builders, 45 experts in commissioning and start-up, 8 experts of procurement & logistics department. On subcontracting for group of the companies Metaprocess worked about 10 building and installation companies, more than 80 supplier of equipment
 
Using UPM-40, together with already running two and a half years methanol plant with the capacity of 12500 tons per year, also designed by Metaprocess company , will allow to close completely  the needs of Yurharovskoe gas-condensate field in methanol with the ability to supply methanol to the other gas fields  Novatek company.
