Chinese investments in the processing of associated oil gas in the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous District - Ugra
Signing of the agreement on attracting investments into the pilot project on gas chemical processing associated oil gas in Khanty-Mansi Autonomous District - Ugra became a final event of three-day JSC "Metaprocess" delegation's visit led by General director Cyril Lyats. JSC “Metaprocess” entered into partnership on negotiations with China Chemical Fibers Association (CCFA) represented by professor Zheng Zhiyi. In the presentation and discussion of original Russian technology of complete processing associated oil gas in aromatic hydrocarbons and polyethyleneterephthalate (PET) participated not only CCFA representatives, but also experts from China Textile Industrial Engineering Institute, China Textile and Chemical Fiber Engineering Corporation, Zhejiang Hengyi Group and other large-scale producers of synthetic fibres. After signing of the Agreement Chairman Zhen Zuj has noticed that at constantly increasing internal consumption of polyester fibers and materials made from them the Chinese manufacturers continue to be pressed for raw materials and the extremely interested in deliveries from Russia. The director for innovations Sergey Dolinsky, signed the Agreement on behalf of JSC "Metaprocess", has paid attention that the new technology not only will allow to offer the Chinese and Russian textile workers raw materials for competitive prices, but also will mark with new approach to the problem of economic associated gas utilization The Visit of Chinese businessmen interested in creation gas chemical production and the investors in Khanty-Mansi Autonomous District - Ugra, will take place in April of this year. The inquiry: China Chemical Fibers Association (CCFA, www.ccfa.com.cn) is founded in 1993 with around 500 member enterprises spreading 28 provinces and cities all over the country. Production capacities of members of CCFA provide production to 28 million tons of synthetic polyester fibers and yarns (PET), which represents 91% of the domestic and over 70% of world production of this product. From 2000 to 2009 production of polyester fibers and yarns by members of CCFA increased by 3,8 times .
